Woods Tea Company Rattles the Rafters at The Old Firehouse
On September 25
The legendary folk/Americana/Irish group, with some French Canadian music thrown in, will be in the Firehouse on September 25 at 7:30. Now including Vermont music legends Patty Casey and Pete Sutherland, the group is an audience favorite throughout New England. They haven’t been with us at the Firehouse for quite a while, so it’s a special treat to hear them rattle the rafters and thump the oil-spattered floor! We’ve had big audiences for the Sky Blue Boys and Swing Noire this Fall. We are looking forward to a sellout for this one.
The Old Firehouse is at 7 Mountain View Road, near the intersection with Vt. 140, in downtown Tinmouth. Doors will open at 7 PM. There is a suggested donation of $10, 90% of which goes to the performers; the rest to the town for building maintenance. Home made desserts, coffee and tea will be available. Donations for them will help support community activities.
