Foliage season is upon us and what better way to enjoy it than a ride in the countryside on a Sunday afternoon. At the end of your ride, celebrate the harvest with the folks of St. Thomas Church in Underhill Center at their Annual Harvest Ham Dinner on Sunday, October 11, 2015. The menu, featuring the fruits and vegetables of the season, will include ham, baked potatoes, squash, carrots, coleslaw, rolls and homemade desserts. Sittings will be at 4:00 PM, 5:15 PM, and 6:30 PM. Take out meals will be available. Tickets will be $12.00 for adults, $6.00 for children 6 - 12 years, and children 5 and under will be the guests of the church. Purchasing your tickets early reserves your place at the sitting of your choice. They are sold on a first come, first served basis. They will also be available at the door. A delicious ham dinner at the foot of Mount Mansfield is a great way to end your fall foliage ride. Tickets are available at the St. Thomas rectory or Wells Corner Market.
