The United Nations General Assembly has declared September 21st, as International Day of Peace, a day devoted to strengthening ideals of peace, within and among all nations and peoples. This year's theme is "Partnerships for Peace---Dignity for All". There will be an event at the Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist Society in Middlebury at 7:15.

Last weekend I had the chance to sing with Ysaye Barnwell. Go to youtube and you can watch other groups sing this Chinese proverb, from the 1st century BCE, from The Great Learning.
