Fun and Free Trail Event at Camels Hump Nordic Ski Center in Huntington!
Ski season is coming but foliage season is here! Come on up to Camels Hump Nordic Cents at 10 AM on September 26th for a low key hike, run, or mountain bike on some of the trails. Bring a picnic and have a BBQ at Windekind Farm. The “Bombadils” will provide live music at the finish. The course is about 5 kilometers starting at the parking lot Hut at the top of Bert White Road, and finishing at beautiful Windekind Farm (a short way further along at the end of Bert White Road).
Course: Start at Hut- cross road to Marijke's Mainline- down Jackrabbit-around the meadow-up Dead River - left on Big Baldy- over (or around on Bear Scat Draw) Cobble Hill- left on Skunk Brook-right at Madrid Junction-finish at Windekind split rail fence.
Lots of trail work has been done this summer, so come on out and enjoy!!
