Fri. night, we saw the most hilarious comedy at the Waterbury Festival Playhouse. They are between the glass blower studio and Hooker's Furniture on Rt. 100. George Pierce has directed another spot on British farce with many doors opening and closing and one person's departure just missing the other person's arrival with a team of accomplished actors. It takes place in London in the 1960s. An ordinary London cabbie is keeping 2 flats in 2 parts of London with 2 wives. It starts out slow while we are being setup for the calamity that follows. The timing is amazing, the energy is high and our cheeks hurt from laughing so hard.
It will run Thur., Fri., and Sat for the next 2 weekends. Tickets can be purchased at www.WaterburyFestivalPlayhouse.com or 802-498-3755. Get your tickets now for a great evening!
