Stephen P. Kiernan’s latest novel "The Hummingbird" tells the story of a hospice nurse, a dying professor’s memories of WWII, and the fate of a marriage after a husband’s difficult return from deployment in Iraq. Kiernan’s previous work includes "The Curiosity", and the nonfiction books "Last Rights" and "Authentic Patriotism". He comes to Bear Pond Books for a reading on Tuesday, September 29th at 7:00 pm.
