Hey all.

As you are probably well aware, there have been somewhere around 20-30 breakin/robberies in our neighborhood in the past 3 months.

Clues have been coming together & as of Wednesday we found out who they are & brought the cops into it. The problem here is that each time a new place is broken into there is a fresh cop who has never heard about the others while taking the report. We have talked to 6 or so officers at this point & just got off the phone w/ a supervising investigator who is planning on meeting with us.

That being said we would like to organize a community meeting w/ all in the area who have been a victim or who are just concerned about our general safety.

The Burlington Free Press is interested in joining the meeting as well. The goal here is to gain the attention these crimes seem to be missing.

So....This Sunday evening at 6pm we would like to gather at the Maple Street Waterfront (near the playground) to discuss the next step & to make sure everyone is aware.
