Please join us on the Common this Friday afternoon for Harvest Fest and a celebration of Vermont Apples!
This is a family event where kids are especially invited :-)
* Make-your-very-own-cider - it's apple season and maybe you have a tree in your yard with plenty of ripe apples? Bring them to the market and make them into delicious Apple Cider! We will have a cider press in the Gazebo and local apples to press but hey, your own apples are much better, for sure! Bring your own cups too for tasting.
* Kids: bring a picture of your favorite flower, animal, fairy, your own design - whatever you like. We invited a Facepainter to join us on Friday so you can have your favorite design painted on your face or hands.
* It's Story Walk time for the youngsters. Follow a story around the market and finish at the Library - a surprise will be waiting.
Of course there are also many apple treats and specialties available at the Farmers' Market, including fresh local apples, apple pie, apple jam and much more. Plenty of veggies are still available too and special orders are always taken. Come join us on Fridays from 3:30-6:30 pm for the last markets of the summer season! More infos:
