The first of three "Meet the Author" events will be held this Wednesday, 7 pm at the Argyle Free Library. This first evening's presenters will be Persis Granger of Warrensburg and Bill Healy from Ballston Lake. Ms. Granger is a well-known author of fiction and nonfiction, including "Adirondack Gold", and "A Summer of Strangers", and is a featured writer in the Adirondack Journal and other publications. Mr. Healy’s writings include "The High Peaks of Essex: The Adirondack Mountains of Orson Schofield Phelps", and "The Adirondacks: A Special World".
