Hi folks!

I am the Teen Center Coordinator at the NEKCA Teen Drop-in Center in downtown Newport, VT. Due to significant cuts from the State of Vermont, we are in serious jeopardy of closing our Teen Center which has been a "hub" for local youths in the North East Kingdom for 15 years.

We are holding a fundraiser on Friday, September 18th, from 6 - 9 pm in Derby, VT. The band "Hornbeam" is playing (woohoo!) and we are having a silent auction, cash bar, appetizers, and a photo exhibit on at-risk youth around VT.

We have ultimately decided not have a cover charge and only ask for a donation, while we need to raise funds we believe it is important to raise awareness and rally our community. Below is the link to our event on Facebook.
