The Castleton Historical Society will hold its annual dinner at the Castleton Community Center on Thursday, October 1st, at 6 PM. The cost for the dinner, catered by the Trak-Inn Restaurant, is $15.50, payable at the door. Please call Holly Hitchcock, at 468-5105, by September 30th, to reserve a place.

Immediately following, Margaret Staudter, 20th century garden interpreter from Fort Ticonderoga, will present "A Layered Legacy; history of the King's Garden at Fort Ticonderoga". The program is free and open to the public -- any interested local folks are welcome to join us!
