The South Burlington Community Chorus will be one of 5 choral groups performing in the 2015 Vermont Sings for Peace Concert to be held Sunday, September 20th at 2:30 pm in the Saint Michael’s College Chapel.This year’s concert benefits the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater. The Concert is FREE, although donations are encouraged. This will be a wonderful opportunity to come together as a Community, enjoy some wonderful music and help support a great cause!

The Hudson River Sloop Clearwater was founded by Pete Seeger, the legendary musician, singer, songwriter, folklorist, activist, environmentalist, and peace advocate. It is recognized as America’s Environmental Flagship and is among the first vessels in the United States to conduct science-based environmental education aboard a sailing ship, creating the template for environmental education programs around the world. http://www.clearwater.org
