Newport's Fall Foliage Festival is taking place in downtown Newport this Saturday, 9/19 from 10a-4p.

Photo Contest: Submit a photo you took of fall foliage and go for the people's choice award or the coveted Phabulous Phall Photo award selected by our esteemed judges.

Dessert Challenge: Find out who has the best desserts this side of Memphremagog. Buy a fork for $5 and taste every sweet there is. Vote for your favorites!

Craft Show: Taking place at the Newport Municipal Building featuring crafters from all over New England. Opens at 10am and closes at 4pm. Still accepting registrations for crafters.

Waterfront Concerts - Enjoy the scenery along the Memphremagog shore while listening to music from the Bandwagon which will be parked in between the gazebos along the waterfront boardwalk. Performance schedule is below.

Scarecrow Contest: Take a gander around town as you travel to the festival events and enjoy the array of scarecrows littering the sidewalks, storefronts, and lamp posts. Enter your scarecrow for a chance to win advertising through MOO92 and Newport Daily Express.

Petting Zoo: Head to Pomerleau Park for a petting zoo put together by the VT Reindeer Farm. Meet MR. JINGLES!
