The Calais Historical Society will meet in East Calais at 6 PM, starting at the East Calais Church, so that people will be able to view inside the church before it gets dark, and to learn more about the status of the church. I have attended some of their meetings during the summer, as they are attempting to raise money for roof repair. They will host a Bake Sale at the church during Fall Foliage week-end.

We will then go over to the E. Calais Rec. Center to hold our business meeting. There will be no pot luck and no program, as the E. Montpelier Historical Soc. will be holding their annual business meeting in E. Montpelier. This will allow us an opportunity to discuss any, and all, plans for our individual societies. All are welcome and we encourage new members, or guests.
