The 45th Annual Green Mountain Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on Sunday October 11, 2015. The race starts at 8:30 near the Folsom Educational Center on South Street in South Hero. A section of South Street (near Folsom Educational Center to West Shore Road) will be closed for the start (8:15-8:45). Please note that participants will be running on the following roads in South Hero & Grand Isle: South Hero -South Street, West Shore Road; & Grand Isle -Rt 314, West Shore Road, Adam’s Landing, Moccasin Road & Reynold’s Road. Come out and cheer on runners as they travel 13.1 or 26.2 miles along our beautiful Island roads. Please contact race director Bob Monette with any question at gmm@gmaa.net.
