Hi all! Just a reminder that THIS THURSDAY, September 17 from 6:00-7:00, Morrisville Co-op will be hosting "Into to Beekeeping" with local beekeeper Michelle Rauch. Read on if interested...
Beekeeping is a wonderful way to give back to the world and help make it a better place, while at the same time receiving many incredible gifts. Keeping bees in your backyard will keep your garden healthy and productive, provide you with honey and beeswax, and is a relaxing and fascinating hobby. But how to get started and how to deal with the challenges that arise?
Please join the Morrisville Food Co-op on Sept. 17 from 6:00-7:00 for "Communty Talks", featuring Michelle Rauch, who will present "a year-in-the-life” of a new beekeeper! Michelle is in her second year of beekeeping and her passion for the age old practice of keeping bees continues to grow. Michelle will discuss how to get started with beekeeping, provide resources for information and local support, and answer questions about just why this “hobby” is so important to our gardens and our world.
