This workshop is the third in a series of summits to help landlords and tenants be more successful by providing information and education, strengthening connections between landlords and area service providers, and offering networking opportunities. This summit will focus specifically on connecting landlords to service providers.
Sessions include:
Success with Housing First
Working with Service Providers: Who they are and How they support you and your tenants
Rental Housing Assistance: An overview of housing vouchers and subsidies - what they are and how they work
Two panel discussions focus on building relationships between landlords and service providers. Service providers from the Lamoille Family Center, Capstone Community Action, and the Agency of Human Services, for example, help clients maintain affordable housing and jobs. Speakers will answer your questions and provide information on the types of services and funding sources they provide. Panelists include a variety of local and regional service providers who serve Lamoille County.
September 17th at Green Mountain Technology and Career Center. Registration and landlord networking begins at 8:00 am, Summit begins at 8:30 am.
