The Winooski Police Department will be having a hands on demonstration of different uniform and gear options during the community dinner tomorrow night 09/16/15 at 5 pm. The event will be at the O'Brien Community Center, 32 Malletts Bay Avenue.

Members of the public and press are encouraged to try on and experience what wearing an outer vest and full duty belt feels like. The limitations of the equipment, including practical and health benefits of different options available will be discussed.

Shortly after Winooski Officers will be wearing proposed new uniform options to be purchased in the future. We value the opinion of the public on this matter.
