On Saturday, September 26, from 4pm to 9pm, scheduled at the Strolling of the Heifers River Garden, is the Annual Meeting of the New England Coalition on Nuclear Polution. The business meeting begins at 5pm. Only NECNP members can vote on issues raised during the business meeting. Two lifetime Achievement Awards will be given. One to Judi and Lou Friedman of Canton, CT and the second one to Arnold and Maggie Gunderson of Burlington, VT. The main speaker for the evening will be Gordon Edwards from Montreal, Canada, President of the Canadian Coalition for Nuclear Responsibility and he is scheduled for 6pm. There will be a dinner following the main speaker (please RSVP requested for the dinner to 802-258-1723). All are welcomed to participate.
