Are you a girl aged 6 to 14, or do you have a daughter/granddaughter/niece/friend who has ever thought about playing ice hockey?
This winter, Middlebury Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) is offering an introductory “Girls Learn to Play Hockey” program in addition to its coed program for kids ages 5-8 (Mites) and its girls’ travel teams. This six-week, non-competitive program is designed exclusively for girls ages 6-14 who would like to try their hand at ice hockey. No previous experience necessary.
- Program runs from Nov 4th through Dec 13th
- 2 sessions per week: Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm and Sundays from 12:00-1:00pm
- Cost to participate is $100.00 plus a $44.00 registration fee to USA Hockey
- Equipment may be rented through MAHA for a fee of $25.00
- Scholarships are available
If you or someone you know is interested in participating, please stop by the Memorial Sports Center (located by the Middlebury town pool) on one of MAHA's two registration dates: Saturday 9/19 from 9:00am-12:00pm or Wednesday 9/23 from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
In the meantime, email boothhodde@yahoo.com with any questions. Come play!
