Home Energy Conservation Tours

I cordially invite my friends and neighbors to my place in Adamant on Saturday, October 3. I have lived at my place in Adamant in an energy conservation mode, what I call “Built-in” conservation, for over three decades. I’ve given dozens of tours and lectures of my place featuring the “walk in refrigerator” (AKA as a root cellar) and the diminutive solar power system (75 watts at full sun) that have served me quite well over the years.

This event is a fund raiser for Vermont Natural Resources Council (I have been a Board member for the past two ears). The tours are free, however, any donations and new memberships to VNRC will be matched one-for-one up to $1000.

For more information and to sign up for one of the four tours that day, go to this link: http://vnrc.org/event/join-us-for-an-energy-conservation-house-tour/

I hope many of you will be able to walk, bike or carpool over to see and talk about energy conservation in action.
