BOOM VT is a free community drum festival that brings people with and without disabilities together through music. This year’s festival is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 1 PM to 4 PM. The event will be held at the Fletcher Free Library at 235 College Street, Burlington, Vt. 05401. The festival will feature drum making workshops, drum instruction, talks about the history of drumming and the genres of drumming. There will also be hands on art projects as well as a sound sensitive drumming and exploration room. The culmination of the event will be a community drum circle.
