Vermont's Wine & Harvest Festival kicks off this Friday 9/18 at 5:00 PM in Wilmington with the Village Stroll. As part of this year's festival, St. Mary's in the Mountains Episcopal Church will be hosting area musicians on Friday, starting at 5:15 and going through about 7:30. There will be approximately 3 locations with wine tastings that require tickets to be purchased at the Chamber Office in Wilmington, but there are free soup tastings throughout the village, including St. Mary's. The soups are prepared by local restaurants.
So come by St. Mary's at 3 East Main Street and hear Hugh Keelan and Jenna Rae perform. Next up will be Bella Nota Quartet, a string quartet , comprised of Pedro, Gudrun Weeks, Bill Rees and Wendy Redliner. And concluding the program will be a brass quintet comprised of Charlie Schneeweiss, Karen Horton, Rob Freeberg, Riley Goodemote and Susan Lemei.
