Events in today's Middle East are baffling. To help with our understanding, OLLI ("Osher") will present distinguished commentator and former CIA Station Chief Haviland Smith. He will speak this Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 1:30 at the Aldrich Library in Barre. His talk, entitled "Events and Trends in the Middle East", will examine important current happenings in that region, events which affect American interests and policy.
