The members of Grace Community Church are happy to invite you to a very special public town event
celebrating the 141st Anniversary of Grace Church in Canaan, Vermont.
As a community church we are fully independent and non-denominational and everyone is welcome.
Sunday, September 20th at 11:00 a.m. Grace Church will host a special event sharing music, a little history from the past, visions for the future, good food, and an opportunity to visit with old friends and meet new ones. Both the antique organ and piano, which remain in concert-quality condition, will be played by local professionals for your enjoyment throughout and after the event.
. With a three year restoration project (including painting of the entire exterior) our church once again looks as good as it did when it was built in 1874.
This is an opportunity for you to meet our new pastor and his wife, Frank and Katie Sawicki, who have brought their years of experience and their love of community and church to our area. During the week Frank teaches in Canaan and Katie teaches in West Stewartstown and their two children attend Canaan Elementary School.
We sincerely invite you and your family, friends and neighbors to come in and tour the restored church and to sit and visit with your neighbors. This is once again an inviting place to gather for so many important events.
A lavish reception follows the main event.
