This year’s Wine and Cheese Party with Silent Auction is gearing up to be a whale of an event.

On October 10 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Bent Northrop Memorial Library, on Park Street, in Fairfield, participating guests will be tempted to bid on a wide array of culinary offerings: Dinner at the Flack Family Farm; Dinner out at Jeff’s Main Seafood; baskets of goodies from As the Crow Flies and the vendors of Yourfarmstand.com; an English Tea at Vermont Willow Nursery; gift certificates for One Federal, Mimmo’s, Hudak’s Farm, the 14th Street Brewery with tour and flights for 10; plus gift baskets from Doe’s Leap Cheeses and Plymouth Artisan Cheese. Support our greatest community asset – our library, a safe and educational after school venue for students, with 45 weeks a year of morning pre-school playgroups, plus workshops for students and adults alike.
