Meet the fab, funny New York Times-bestselling children's book author Jarrett J. Krosoczka on Tuesday, September 15 at 4 pm at Shelburne Town Hall.

You may know him as the author of the wildly popular* Lunch Lady* graphic novels and *Platypus Police Squad* chapter books. You may be familiar with his bestselling *Punk Farm,* *Peanut Butter and Jellyfish*, and other jubilant, warm-hearted picture books. Now the Flying Pig Bookstore is bringing Jarrett Krosoczka to Shelburne Town Hall to share his brand-new picture book, *It's Tough to Lose Your Balloon.*

If you've ever toppled your ice cream cone, dropped your sandwich in the sand, or lost your beautiful balloon to a breeze, you'll appreciate this sweet book that helps kids look on the bright side of small -- but memorable -- disasters in a child's life.

Children ages 3-6 will especially love this book, and older kids are also welcome to come meet Jarrett and talk about his chapter books after his picture book presentation. The event is free and open to the public.
