"Have you ever thought about attending a national convention? Would you like to represent Bernie Sanders, Hilary Clinton, or other democratic presidential hopefuls?

The process starts here:
All are welcome to attend the Saint Albans City Democratic Party organizational meeting on Thursday, September 17 in the City Council Chambers at City Hall at 7:00pm. At this meeting, local Town Democratic Party officers will be elected for two years. Delegates to the Democratic county committee will also be chosen, who will be eligible to compete to go to the national convention in Philadelphia in July 2016 as Vermont delegates. You also have to vote in the Democratic primary in March 2016 (the only election in which party affiliation is public information).

Democracy is participatory and once again Vermont is setting a national standard for citizen involvement at the presidential level. Be a part of it as we gear up for the 2016 election cycle! See you on the 17th!
