The Tradition Continues... Help us help a CAUSE!
It all began in 2012 as an idea for an “under the lights” homecoming soccer game, hosted by Grand Isle Sports Boosters. Soccer players Brynn Murray and Maygan Blow suggested that the night be a community-wide event for a charitable cause . . . and our Pink Night Out, supporting breast cancer awareness, was born! In the years since, the event has been successfully orchestrated by various community members. We are deeply grateful for their hard work and are proud to continue the tradition they began!
Grand Isle School Girls’ and Boys’ Wildcat Soccer will host the Alburgh and South Hero teams on the Grand Isle soccer field beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10. When evening falls, the lights will come on for the Islands’ only UNDER THE LIGHTS matches! Speaking of matches, don’t miss the BONFIRE after the games.
This is an awesome fun event for the whole community and for a great cause!
