Join us in a cause that's bigger than our hometown, bigger than politics, bigger than the immediate future.
We're coming together - crossing many lines that sometimes divide us - to ask that you join in a Nationwide Day of Action on Saturday, September 21st, designed to ask President Obama to stop the completion of the Keystone XL pipeline and to stop the plans for transporting tars sands oil through an aging pipeline that crosses Vermont.
It'll an upbeat event - a march starting at 10 am at the Waitsfield Covered Bridge and winding through town - with signs, banners and lots of energy. We'll paint our signs at a party at Dotty and Eric's (respond here) on Sunday the 15th at 5 pm. The march will focus on what we cherish and why it's important to work toward a fossil fuel-free future.
