I will be there representing the Vermont Doula Access Coalition and our doula documentary project. With the help of additional funds, we plan to create an effective, comprehensive film that will inspire legislative reform to ensure Medicaid will cover doula support for expectant women. So far, we've had midwives, nurses, a therapist, a lactation consultant, an agency director, and numerous families speaking on camera in behalf of doula services coverage. We have a few eager docs and more nurses at surrounding hospitals who are eager to join them when we can expand the project.
