Mops and Moms Next Kickoff September 17th

Past event
Sep 17, 2015, 6:30 to 8 PM

MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying along side one another. We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world... We are excited to offer MOMs Next again- which is open to mothers of school-age children. If you're a mom who still has kids at home, you're invited!

MOPS and MOMs Next will begin on September 17th from 6:30-8:00 pm. Meetings will be held on the First and Third Thursdays of the month in the Thatcher Brook Primary School Library. Childcare will be provided for kids birth through age 10. Contact waterburymops@gmail.com to register your child.

This years theme, "A Fierce Flourishing" calls for new eyes to see... We become more ourselves when we celebrate, rest and notice, and that looks a lot like flourishing. But this flourishing isn’t the precious or exhausting kind. This is a fierce flourishing. It is a deep experience of gratitude and hope compelling you to raise your hands and dance freer than you ever have before. It is a fierce protection of your most important moments, an invitation to rest and an opportunity to enjoy the people who are right in front of you.

MOPS and MOMs Next is chartered by Waterbury Mission. Like us on Facebook- MOPS/MOMs Next- Waterbury Mission for updates.
