Black River Cleanup Sept. 12

This Saturday 9am

As part of Vermont's River Cleanup Month, the Craftsbury Conservation Commission and Memphremagog Watershed Association are cleaning up an old dump site on the bank the Black River. We can use lots of extra hands and a few pickup trucks to shuttle trash from the riverside to a dumpster. Look for a sign at a dirt driveway on the east side of Rt. 14, 1.2 miles north of the North Craftsbury Road junction and just south of mailbox #7525. There will be room to park, but carpooling would reduce our footprint. Wear old clothes, sturdy shoes and gloves. For more info contact Ann Ingerson at 586-9625 or annanddb@hotmail.com.
