Hello everyone - I know its early yet but I wanted to let you all know that a terrific event is being held at the Woodbury Community Library this month: Jane Beck will is bringing her slide presentation on Vermont Folk Art to us on Wed., Sept 16th. Starting at 7pm, this is free and everyone is invited. Older kids could find this quite interesting as well as adults of all ages. We will have light refreshments too, and as you know the building is accessible. Ms. Beck is the founder and former ED of the VT Folklife Center, and has been active in expanding general awareness of and education about about our Folk Art treasures and heritage.
This is a Vermont Humanities Council event, being hosted by Friends of Woodbury Library (69 Valley Lake Rd).
