On Saturday, 19 September, the Windham Regional Woodlands Association (WRWA) will hold its annual meeting in Brattleboro. The agenda includes a walk led by George Weir, consulting forester, focused on an upcoming tree harvest; a potluck cookout lunch; and presentations on the Vermont Use Value Appraisal Program (also known as "current use" program), update on invasive forest insect species, and control of invasive plants. You need not be a member to attend (though you are welcome to join on the meeting day.) If you plan to attend, you should register by 14 September so that the meeting organizers can plan appropriately. For a complete meeting announcement, including agenda, please contact WRWA Trustee Linda Lyon (LindaALyon@gmail.com).
