The Town of Pittsford is in the process of drafting and updating its Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, a plan which will make the Town eligible to apply for hazard mitigation planning and equipment grants from FEMA. The Committee is meeting on Thursday, September 10 at 1:00 pm in the Town Office Conference Room to discuss:

1. Which areas or structures are most vulnerable to natural hazards
2. Prioritizing Town mitigation projects
3. Severe storm history within the Town

It is the intent that a draft plan will be produced after this meeting and then be posted on the Town’s website for public viewing.
