After the success and popularity of the previous concert sponsored by the Parks and Rec. department we asked ourselves, "why not more music?"
So on Saturday, September 19th, 'Hometown Throwdown' will take place at the J&L Fields and showcase five musical acts over the course of the evening. The event will act as a sample of some of the musical talent that is present in our town. All of the acts are directly connected to the Fairfax community, with several of the artists having been raised in town, and one act who have even recently started calling Fairfax 'home.'
Locally owned and operated Meadow Brook Market will be selling food and drinks, while ice cream scoops from Kingdom Creamery can easily be paired with delicious slices of pie from Eastman's Bakery. Accompanying the music, activities for children and adults will be taking place throughout the duration of the evening as well.
Admission to the event is free for children 12 and under, and $5 for everybody 13+, with proceeds supporting the Town of Fairfax Parks and Recreation department. For more information and updates, join our event page on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1637910886447442/
We hope to see you there!
