The Windsor County Snowmobile Club is proud to announce that it will be hosting the Annual Vermont Association of Snowmobilers (VAST) Annual Meeting and Snowmobile Exposition this year, and has chosen to have it in Ludlow at Okemo’s Jackson Gore. The Jackson Gore facility provides everything that is necessary to hold the event, including recreational activities to keep the family members busy.
The event will be held on Saturday, September 12th from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. There will be vendor displays, to which the public is invited, with something for everyone. Vermont State Police, Fish & Game, Windsor County Sheriff, Snowmobile dealers, ATV dealers, Farmers Market vendors, all will be there, just to name a few. If you are interested in being a vendor, contact Carol Coyne at 802-672-1992 to reserve your space. There is a $25.00 commitment fee for vendors which will be returned to the vendors that participate. There is no cost to the public to shop our vendors.
The highlight of the day will be a rescue demonstration by the Ludlow Fire Department, Ludlow Ambulance Service, Ludlow Police Department and the DART Helicopter. This demonstration will take place at 11:00 AM and involve the simulation of a snowmobile accident and eventual transport of the victim to the hospital by the DART helicopter.
All of the Jackson Gore Adventure Zone Activities will be operational. For more information and fees for these Activities, go to www.okemo.com.
Bring the family and enjoy the day with us. Further details and agenda can be found at www.vast.org.
