Hardwick First Friday Festival is celebrating the season of harvest for its final event September 4th starting at 6:00pm. Don’t let the temporary closing of Positive Pie stop you as our participants are working hard to provide plenty of edible creations to temp you.
The Village Diner is in the process of constructing its menu specials for the evening and The Vermont Place & Connie’s Kitchen will be open for service that evening too. In addition we can welcome back the owners of Yummy Wok, Hardwick’s favorite place for Chinese food.
Back by popular demand the Junior Auxiliary will be providing the bouncy house and sweetening up the kiddos selling caramel apples, while the Auxiliary will be serving up a garden of fresh vegetables, meat & cheese with their walking tacos. Stop by the Legion Riders table to indulge in the flavors of a Michigan Dog!
Check out the vendors in the Art Park & hopefully hear the melodious sounds of the father – daughter duo of Chris & Juliana Greene from Woodbury. As always the Hardwick Inn should have its live performers on the porch outside the Hardwick Clothing Company.
Attend the book, Outsider’s Inside View, signing for photographer, Edward L. Rubin at the Galaxy Bookstore, which features several photos of local citizens. In addition visit the many non-profit organizations from Hardwick including the Hardwick Historical Society, Jeudevine Library, & check out the featured movie at the Hardwick Town House.
The festival is open to all in the Hardwick or surrounding areas as a place to market your business and network with other community members. If you would like to participate in the last event of the season as a business or vendor please contact Larry Hamel at 802-472-6350 or 802-917-2886 by phone or send him an email at lwhamel@aol.com.
