Invasive Plant Control Hands-on Workshop this Thursday

Join the Northfield Conservation Commission, the Friends of the Winooski River, and US Fish & Wildlife this Thursday, September 3rd at 9:30 am for a free hands-on workshop on invasive plants control. Participants will learn to identify common invasive plants and how to control them. Most of our time will be spent actively removing knotweed from the riparian buffer at the site. Please bring gloves, water, and loppers or large pruners. Meet at the wellfield, access off RT 12A, about .5 mi. from RT 12 intersection.
