House Concert at Diane Huling's Sept. 5

Past event
Sep 5, 2015, 5 PM

A wonderful opportunity to experience chamber music in the informal, intimate setting it was intended for -- a private home!

And in this case, the home of an extraordinary concert pianist (Diane Huling), who lives in an old farmhouse in Lower Cabot -- 585 Ducharme Road, to be exact.

The program is eclectic, and so are the musicians -- Gideon Crevoshay (tenor), Jason Bergman (violin and mandolin), Sara Lisniansky (alto recorder), Peter Brown (cello), Heidi Bothfeld-Baxter (flute), and Diane Huling (piano and harpsichord). Included are spirited and accessible works by Matteis, Rameau, Dvorak, Liszt, Telemann and others -- all influenced by various folk traditions (or in one case, birdsong).

The date is Saturday, September 5th, the starting time is 5:00, and the suggested donation is $20, which includes food and drink.

Reservations are necessary, and early arrival recommended for a good seat. Respond via email to hulingperformances@gmail.com
