~ Special Meeting Seeking Input from Lake Owners and Others – Saturday, August 29th, 4:00-5:30 at the Pavilion on Tinmouth Pond ~
The Pavilion Exploration Committee and the Select Board will hold a meeting on Saturday, August 29th at the Pavilion for the purpose of gathering input in regards to the proposed purchase of the Parker property on Chipman Lake/Tinmouth Pond by the Town. The meeting will follow the Tinmouth Pond Milfoil Project’s annual meeting (which is scheduled from 2-4) beginning at 4:00 and ending around 5:30. All are welcome, folks from the Lake and folks from the Town. Your thoughts and concerns are important.

As the Select Board and the Parker family are currently in negotiations, the Committee will briefly present information gathered to date regarding costs (estimated at this point), proposed uses, how other towns deal with their lake accesses, etc. Mostly they are interested in listening and answering questions if possible.
