The Green Mountain Stage Race (GMSR) needs volunteers for September 3 - 6. Volunteers are needed at registration at Bridges Resort on Thursday, 9/3 from 6:30-8pm and also on Friday, 9/4 in the morning. Course marshals are needed on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Also, needed are two people to serve as King of the Mountain judges on Sunday. Anyone interested in volunteering, please contact Emma at VC@GMSR.Info or 802-595-1656.
The annual Green Mountain Stage Race (GMSR) takes place over Labor Day Weekend. This event brings 700+ bicycle racers and their support teams to the Mad River Valley for 3-4 nights. They sleep in our beds, dine at our restaurants, shop at our stores and tell GMSR race organizers that they come back at other times to train and experience other seasons in the MRV. They have even tracked multiple weddings in the Valley as a result of the bride/groom first participating in the GMSR. This event, like the Mad Marathon, is an opportunity to win over the participants and keep them coming back to the Valley. Let's show them our best!
