Lake Bomoseen friends and neighbors are invited to the oldest camp on the lake owned by Sheila McIntyre at 170 Prices Lane, Castleton for those who use a GPS. Go about a mile on Johnson-Spooner Road; turn left on to Old Town Road; (red house on the corner) go about 100 feet to Prices Lane; left on to Prices Lane; cottage is at the end of road through gate with "Watchpoint" sign. If you cross a culvert on Johnson-Spooner Road, you've gone about 20 feet beyond Old Town Road. Call 273-2554 of you get lost. Those who don't mind walking a bit, please park along Johnson Spooner or Prices Lane before you get to "Watchpoint Sign". This is LBA's fourth social of 2015 and is being held from 5 to 7:30 pm on Thursday, August 27. Bring an appetizer to share and whatever you would like to drink. The view from the deck to the south is spectacular. Parking is at a premium so carpool if you can. Of course we are still accepting 2015 LBA memberships dues and donations to the 200 Club to KILL the MILfoil. LBA Perk cards will be handed out to members who have not yet received theirs. Perk cards offer discounts when purchasing items at local businesses. We look forward to seeing you there. The final social of the year is September 24 at Kehoe Camp. Chili will be provided by the social committee and you are asked to bring something to go with it or a dessert.
