The Bridgewater Historical Society hosts Ernest Kendall “Bridgewater Woolen Mill - Artifacts, Photos and Discussion”.
The Society has prepared an exhibit titled, “The Bridgewater Woolen Mill: The Fabric of a Community.” The exhibit received a lot of attention at The Vermont History Exposition and Woodstock Senior Center. The mill, built around 1825, is one of the oldest buildings in Bridgewater. It was a cotton mill before it later became a woolen textile mill where uniforms and blankets were made for soldiers during World War 1 and World War II. Ernest’s father, Charles Kendall designed and managed products for several decades.
Please bring your memories and artifacts to share. Free admission and refreshments
