The Waitsfield Selectboard will be hosting a public information meeting on the Waitsfield Village West Sidewalk Phase 2, 7:00pm, at the Waitsfield Town Office. The meeting will begin with a site visit of the proposed sidewalk, 6:30pm, across from Bridge Street by the Masonic Lodge. The project, which is funded in part through a grant from the VTrans Bicycle and Pedestrian Program, will upgrade the existing sidewalk from the Masonic Lodge to the Valley Players Theatre. The regular Selectboard meeting will begin at 7:00pm with a presentation by the project engineer of the proposed layout and opportunity for the public to comment on the plan. The proposed plan can be viewed at the Town Office, 9 Bridge Street, or viewed on-line at www.waitsfieldvt.us.
