Join us in learning more about minimal tillage conservation practices and the White River District No Till Drill Rental Program!

In late spring, the White River Conservation District started a No Till Drill Rental Program and purchased a Haybuster 107C inspired by the local agricultural community. This field day is intended to provide information to farmers interested in using the drill or learning more about minimal tillage conservation practices. During this field day participants will:

• Discuss with local agricultural service providers the use of minimal tillage practices in Vermont, including success with the UVM No Till Drill Rental Program inter-seeding and cover cropping

Participate in an inter-seeding demonstration and learn tips on using the Haybuster 107C

• Learn more about the White River Districts No Till Drill Rental Program

There will be light refreshments and snacks. If you are unable to attend, but would still like to use the drill, please call us! Farms can sign up to rent the drill on a rolling basis.
