Middlebury UndergrounD (MUD) is proud to partner with the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival (MNFF) on Saturday, August 29 for a special event running from 7-11 p.m. on Middlebury’s town green… free and open to the entire community. It’s shaping up to be a great time with killer bands, delicious food, and frosty ice-cream spiked alcoholic beverages – and it’s free and open to the entire community.
Local favorite Left Eye Jump will take the stage from 8:15 until 9:00 p.m. Boston-based Evolfo Doofeht, a seven-piece gypsy funk band, will rock the green from 9:15-10:45.
“Evolfo does pop, punk, funk, ska, and Eastern European rhythms — sometimes in the same song. The band brings together different styles to make something new. The result is raw, danceable and boisterous."
– The Boston Herald
Bring your appetite. Mary’s Restaurant will be onsite offering decadent bites and artisan sodas. LuLu, the farm-to-spoon ice cream shop, will build custom beer and cider floats in the beverage tent. Or grab an eclectic taco, and other creations from Chef Chris Simard’s farm-to-trailer pop up restaurant, The Lazy Farmer. The Middlebury green gazebo is the party’s dessert pavilion, showcasing the homemade confections of Pastry Chef Shiel Worcester of Jam Bakery. And iconic purveyors Woodchuck Hard Cider, Drop-In Brewery, and Shelburne Vineyards will be on hand pouring tasty beverages.
General admission is free; beverages and food are available for purchase from participating vendors.
This event is brought to you by Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival in partnership with Middlebury UndergrounD (MUD), with thanks to MNFF presenting sponsor Woodchuck Hard Cider.
