The Castleton Historical Society will hold its annual picnic on Sunday, August 23rd at 1 PM at the Hubbardton Battlefield. At 2 PM, Elsa Gilbertson, regional historic site administrator, will discuss the Hubbardton Battle Monument, erected by local citizens in 1859.
