Winooski Rec staff will be hosting a Youth Soccer registration event at RICHARDS PARK on Saturday morning, 9:30-11AM. Youth Soccer registration forms will be available for parents to fill out and soccer balls and pop-up goals will be out for kids to use and play casual games with their friends.

This will be a family-friendly, drop-in style event. No clinic, structured skills practice, or organized scrimmaging are planned, but all kids and parents are welcome to come and kick some soccer balls around in preparation for the official start of Youth Soccer on Saturday, 8/29.

Winooski Youth Soccer is an 8-week (Aug. 29 – Oct. 31) program for kids in grades K-5. Sessions will be held on Saturday mornings at the WHS soccer field. (9 - 10:15AM for grades K-2 & 10:30 – 12 noon for grades 3-5). The sessions will include time for kids to warm up, practice various soccer skills, and play for fun against their peers.

The cost of the Program is $20/child, with additional children from the same household half price. Fees are waived for parents who volunteer in the Program, and scholarships are available!

Come to Richards Park on Saturday morning (8/22), from 9:30-11, to learn more about Youth Soccer, sign kids up, and get in the Winooski soccer spirit!
